If you are subject to a transfer or think for some other reason you might be required to relocate, you might prefer to install a lower cost model with a lower efficiency heat pump, as you are unlikely to recoup the extra cost if your stay will be short. Money is not the only factor to consider as you may be willing to pay more to reduce your house’s impact on the environment.
